Are you trying to eat healthier this year?
If so, I am on the same train as you then! First off, I am trying to accept that being healthy doesn’t mean I need to be PERFECT about my eating and exercise. I know there are days when I will fall off the healthy food wagon or skip a workout. I love Mexican food and I’m trying to cook more in 2017.
One of my all-time favourite winter traditions is making a tourtiere for dinner.

Which is great because I’ve been trying to do smoothies for breakfast and salads for dinner more.
I usually buy a nice cut of steak, grill it with some olive oil, salt and pepper. While that’s grilling off – I boil the eggs, cook the potatoes and green beans and assemble the salad. (more…)
Trying to get your healthy eating habits back on track?
Whenever I fall off the rails somewhere between Thanksgiving and New Years Day, the first thing I do is start making smoothies for breakfast. It’s an easy way to get your fruits and vegetables in the morning and get yourself eating breakfast again.
So I put together this fun little 7-day smoothie challenge in case you’re struggling to come out of the sugar cookie coma too: (more…)
