Coachella is just one week away and the party calendar is filling up quickly! Even if you couldn’t score tickets to the fest, you can still hit up the parties. Here’s a quick round-up of a few not-to-be missed Coachella parties for 2017:

1) Young Turks in Palm Springs

To kick off Coachella weekend, Goldenvoice and FYF presents Young Turks in Palm Springs are hosting a Coachella pre-party at the Palm Springs Air Museum on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 9 p.m.

8 Spring Outfit Ideas

I am super excited about transitioning my wardrobe to SPRING!

The days have been grey and rainy in Portland and the sun has been far and few between. I can’t wait to bust out a few florals, bright colours and a sundress or two as things finally warm up a bit more.

Here a few fun spring outfit ideas to get you inspired for the new season: (more…)

Three Things to Try This Weekend!

coachella

1) Stream Coachella LIVE at the office on Friday and make it your official soundtrack for this weekend. Doors open at 11 AM PST time, so set an alert in your calendar and sway along – even if it’s just at your desk. Bookmark – www.youtube.com/coachella

NY-Times-36-Hours-Book

2) Plan Your Weekend Getaways – That’s right. Grab your calendar and start booking off your weekends this summer. April is the BEST time to start booking rooms and travel. You’re likely to still find availability and a decent rate for any travel you may be planning in July or August. Once you know where you want to go, pick-up a copy of my travel bible, The New York Times 36 Hours: 150 Weekends in the USA & Canada and start going wild! I just booked a weekend trip to Yosemite National Park in August – so stoked about this.

Kale-Caesar-Salad

3) Make a Kale Caesar Salad. My love affair with kale is still going strong and it’s even better in Caesar salad format. Get your hands on a baby kale mix, add Caesar dressing, cherry tomatoes, croutons or breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese and a squeeze of lemon for a healthy weekend lunch idea. I like to add grilled chicken breast or roasted spicy shrimp on top.

Have a great weekend!
