5 Spring Events to Check Out in Toronto 2017

Summer Flowers

Spring is just around the corner and it’s almost time to come out from hibernation. There are lots of great spring events happening in Toronto over the next couple months! Here are my top picks to mark on your calendar:

1) The Canada Blooms Show

If winter is getting you down, pop into this inspiring garden show with your parents or grandparents and get some spring inspiration. The show will be held alongside the National Home Show at the Enercare Centre at Exhibition Place in Toronto.

Look for feature gardens created by the expert designers, architects, builders and floral superstars. Check out workshops from gardening stars Frankie Flowers and Mark Cullen during the festival.

2) The One of A Kind Spring Show

This truly is one of my favourite all-time craft shows. There are so many unique vendors and a large artisan food section where I like to stock up on host/hostess and birthday gifts. The timing of the spring show is perfect for Easter and Mother’s Day presents. Located inside The Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place.

March 29 – April 2, 2017

3) The Toronto Yoga Show

I’ve started doing a lot more yoga recently and I like to think of it as a moving meditation. It forces me to breathe deeply and be mindful of what I’m doing in. It’s also great for relieving stress. SO! The Toronto Yoga Show is a great place to get started if you’re thinking of doing more yoga or expanding on the practice and lifestyle.

It’s happening at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building. Over 250+ conscious-minded organizations and companies will be offering products and services inline with your mindful attitudes.

March 31 – April 2, 2017

4) The Niagara Food & Wine Expo

Ok, this one is a bit outside of Toronto, but totally a great excuse to get out to wine country! The Niagara Food & Wine Expo will be returning April 21-23, 2017 at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls.

The show will feature wine, beer and spirits from aroudn the world and regional wines from the Niagara area. Sample local cuisine from Niagara chefs while taste testing your way through all the amazing wine. It’s a great way to discover a new favourite.
