After six incredible years in the non-profit consulting sector, Paul has made the big decision to finally launch his very own digital agency!
To be honest with you – it was time.
I will be joining him as a co-founder and helping out with business development, content strategy, marketing, and partnerships while we are in Canada. Paul will be doing everything else as we rapidly start to build our team. Continue reading →
From the day we adopted our pup BINGO over two years ago – he was our little crazed terrier. We were pretty sure he was a Jack Russell Terrier mix of some sort because he’s so freaking smart, is high energy and just needs a lot of attention.
Paul and I always told people he was a terrier mix of some sort but we weren’t really sure what else he could be. So I reached out to the nice people at embark to ask if I could review one of their Dog DNA Tests to learn more about BINGO’s exact breed and more about his health.

Hey, I’m not complaining – I know what I signed up for when I moved here and it’s still about a 1000 times better then the winter we had last year (oh non-stop drizzle starting on November 1st. It’s really all about trying to make the most of the weather. So I’ve updated my little round-up of things to do in Portland when it rains.
I’m also open to suggestions as there are A LOT of rainy days to fill here. If you’re visiting Portland and looking for things to do when it isn’t raining – do make sure to check out my Travel Guide to Portland, Oregon for more trip ideas.
After 18 incredible months of living in Portland, Oregon – we will be saying goodbye to this amazing and weird city in the next few weeks. We have had such a fun time exploring all of Oregon and have made some near and dear friends in our city that we know we will be back soon for a visit.
I can’t say too much about where we will land next. We are exploring a few exciting options right now. But I am very sure that I will have BIG and very positive news for you in the New Year.
In the meantime, we will be driving back to Toronto with our pup BINGO for the holidays. We considered flying – but he’s unable to even wait outside the grocery store for FIVE minutes, while the other person runs in to grab something. We figured that having our car in Toronto would be a plus too.
We will be driving through Boise, Twin Falls, Salt Lake City, across Wyoming, across Nebraska, across Iowa, past Chicago and through Michigan. Any suggestions for fun things to see and do in these cities?
So we are packing up our apartment and will be Toronto-bound at the start of December. If you happen to be in the city, do let me know! I’ll be spending that time catching up with all of our friends and family.
