One of the things I really look forward to is my 3 PM afternoon tea ritual.
For some reason 3 PM is when I totally hit the wall at work and I need a mental break and a snack to get me recharged for the rest of the day. I usually start by brewing myself a warm pot of tea and choose a flavour depending on my mood.
When I’m in need of a major pick-me-up, I usually reach for Lipton’s Pure Green Tea and add a few orange slices as a snack. Lipton has updated their green tea blend with a light, fresh taste, bright clearer color and a delightful aroma. This tea also tastes delicious on ice! If you haven’t tried Lipton’s Pure Green Tea in a long time, I definitely recommend picking up a box.
If I’m having a tense day and need to wind down, I go for Lipton’s Lemon Ginger Herbal Tea with a couple slices of lemon and a squeeze of honey to go with. It’s also great if you’re feeling under the weather. I also like to sip on it in the evening after dinner since the tea is caffeine-free. It’s a nice way to cozy up on the couch.
When I’m in the mood for something traditional, Lipton’s Daring English Breakfast paired with a few macarons makes for the perfect afternoon tea at home. I like to take 20 minutes to myself, sip on some tea, have a light snack, and flip through my favorite magazines before going back to work.
It’s just a nice little way to break up the afternoon.
Lipton’s new black and herbal varieties and improved green teas are now available in stores and include delicious new flavors like Enticing Chai, Pure Green, Orange Passionfruit Jasmine and Peach Mango.
