FEAST is finally here!
It’s my FIRST time attending this Portland food + drink festival and FEAST is the best of its kind in North America. It truly is the ultimate food festival and its celebrating its fifth year.
There will be exciting food events happening all over the city and it runs from September 15-18 with ticketed classes, workshops, tastings and a grand feast food festival in the program.
This celebration of food will feature the best of the Pacific Northewest with chefs participating from all over the west coast. The entire festival is pretty much sold-out! But you can follow me to FEAST as I snap, eat and drink my way through it. You can follow along on my FEAST journey on:
Here’s what’s on my radar for this weekend:
There’s an industry opening night party hosted by Williams Sonoma at the gorgeous Jacobsen Salt Co. space. I’m intrigued to see what they have planned!
It’s going to be sandwiches gone wild at the Sandwich Invitational Presented by Portland Monthly Magazine. 14 of the best chefs in the country are going to present their take on the ‘sandwich’ served with lots of creativity. There will also be lots of wine, cocktails and craft beer to pair with.
I’ll be checking out the breakfast at Gracie’s inside Hotel deLuxe for a media event. I’ve never been to this restaurant, so I’m definitely interested in trying all the food. All the reviews I’ve read online have been mainly positive.
The Grand Tasting is happening at Pioneer Courthouse Square from 1-5 pm with 80+ food and drink vendors to taste from. I’m definitely going to have to wear my stretchy pants for this one.
In an attempt to burn off some calories, BurnCycle is hosting a rooftop spinning party for pre-registered attendees. I was lucky to score a spot and will be sweating my little heart out during this 45-minute spin class.
