We love Field Trip!
Field Trip Music & Arts Festival this past weekend brought out some cute boho looks for a dreamy concert under the sun. Held at Toronto’s Historic Fort York, Field Trip is an all-day affair with a 10th anniversary celebration for the label Arts & Crafts. It’s an easy festival to get to without having to trek your way outside of the city. You just hop on the train and go home!
This year it featured a few of my favourite bands like Broken Social Scene, Stars and Feist. The lineup also included Bloc Party, Ra Ra Riot, Timber Timbre, Cold Specks, Jason Collett, Trust, Zeus, Hayden, The Darcys, Gold & Youth and Still Life Still.
I asked photographer Jessica Blaine Smith to scope out a few of her favourite festival looks at Field Trip for your summer style inspiration. We spotted lots of hats, colourful leggings, cut-off shorts, aviators, lace and flowing skirts. Since the weather has been so unpredictable in Toronto lately, people dressed in lots of layers and came prepared for rain. I once wore a hat, mittens and a winter coat for an outdoor festival in May!
Lots of stylish jackets and comfortable + stylish footwear
Cute leggings + boots
Which summer festivals are you looking forward to this summer?
