Fall Beauty Favorites

caudalie value kit beauty

It’s been awhile since my last beauty round-up, but I’ve been testing a whole slew of beauty products that I’ve fallen in love with. I paid $10 for that Sephora ‘prime’ service and it’s started an addiction!

Here are a couple fave beauty products I definitely recommend:

1) Caudalie Favorites Kit

I was on the hunt for a new micellar cleanser, when I came across this Caudalie Favorites Value Kit which included the cleanser and a bunch of other skincare products. I love the little trial/travel sizes and it made me a believer of their micellar cleanser and the Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet – I would buy the full-size of both. The cleanser is super gentle and my skin sucked up every last bit of the gel-like sorbet.

It was also really nice working within one system and letting the products compliment each other. For $39 – this is an amazing deal and would make a great Christmas gift!

2) Philosophy Uplifting Miracle Worker Eye Cream

I love this eye cream because of the active ingredients that cool and de-puff under my eyes.  This eye cream comes out super thick, but feels really light and also works to firm up the area under your eye. You also don’t need to use a ton to feel hydrated.

3) Tatcha Japanese Blotting Papers

I’ve been using those plastic blue blotting wipes for years, until I finally got wise and looked at the ingredients. It’s made with plastic and contains mineral oil – which is not the stuff I want to be pressing daily into my face. I quickly gave those up and splurged on these Tatcha Japanese Blotting Papers which are flecked with gold leaf and are 100% natural.

I’m not gonna lie – these are expensive! I really do love them and try to use them only once per day when I’m wearing full make-up. They come in a big square sheet and are made in Japan.

4) Living Proof Dry Shampoo

When I was shopping around for a new dry shampoo that didn’t make my scalp itch – the salespeople at the store I was in unanimously recommended Living Proof Dry Shampoo, which did the BEST job for soaking up oil and sweat from your hair. It does that and it smells great! It also does not irritate my scalp.

5) Sephora Collection Rouge Cream Lipstick

It’s hard to find the perfect red lip colour, but Rouge Cream from the Sephora Collection is super flattering and glides on creamy without cracking. It stays on for a good 4-hour wear before I have to reapply and I love how rich the shade looks.
