Founder + Editor-in-Chief
Welcome to This Beautiful Day – a lifestyle blog for smart + stylish women. I launched this blog in June 2013 to curate and share a few of my favourite things. Myself and my team write daily about food, travel, style, beauty and life advice. We want to provide you with daily inspiration along with tips and advice to get the most out of every day.
I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada – moved to Los Angeles for 3 years, before re-locating to Portland, Oregon in May 2016 with my husband Paul. I think the weather, ocean and beach were calling our names – so we decided to give west coast living a try and I think it really fits us.
My goal is to live life to the absolute fullest and to share my research and experience on this blog to hopefully inspire you to get out there and try something new.
So what do I do now? I am a professional blogger and I do freelance writing and consulting in Digital Content + Social Media. I work from home on most days, but because my work is mobile – I’m lucky to be able to bring it with me on my travels.
